GDC Kathua organized poster making competition

KATHUA: In an effort to spread awareness among the students about audio-visual aids, Centre for Women Studies GDC Kathua, organised a poster making competition in the College campus on Thursday.

More than 35 students took part in the competition. The program was organised under the supervision of Dr Rachna, Director CWS Govt Degree college Kathua. Prof. Seema Mir, Principal, GDC Kathua was the chief guest in this workshop. In her address she congratulated the students and applauded the efforts of students for taking part in this event and also motivated the students to spread this knowledge among the students who want to choose teaching as a profession.

 She also appreciated the working of CWS for organizing such programs on the college campus. In her address she also gives stress to organize such types of workshops more and more and also touches on the various issues that students may be able to express their views in the shape of posters as well as lectures.

Dr. Rachna described the aim of organizing such workshops for the students which will help the students to choose teaching as a profession and make it more interesting and effective with the help of new methods and teaching devices.

 Participants were acknowledged with participation certificates. Participants were also directed to share their posters for awareness on their social accounts. Senior Faculty members Prof. Raj Kiran HOD Physics, Prof. Rakesh Singh, HOD Chemistry were also present in the workshop. =============
