Arrests 3 criminals involved in attempt to murder cases

SAMBA, July 1: Police arrested three criminals involved in ‘attempt to murder cases’ registered at Police Station Ramgarh and Police Station Samba, here today.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rattan Singh son of Jodh Singh and Narinder Singh son of Rattan Singh, both resident of Dabuj Kaka, Tehsil Ramgarh, while Gulshan Kumar son of Dev Raj, resident of Manano, Tehsil & District Samba.

The accused Rattan Singh and Narinder Singh have been arrested in case FIR No. 36/2023 under sections 307/323/504/506 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act, registered at Police Station Ramgarh.

Another accused Gulshan Kumar has been arrested in case FIR No. 153/2023 under section 307/323/427/451 IPC, registered at Police Station Samba.

One person was seriously injured at Dabuj Kaka in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh in the murderous attack committed by the accused Narinder Singh and Rattan Singh. Both of them used the sharp edged weapon (Darat) as a weapon of offence in full public view at Dabuj Kaka under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station.

On the complaint of the injured person, an FIR under relevant sections of attempt to murder and Arms Act was registered at Police Station Ramgarh and after thoroughly investigation; the police team headed by SHO Ramgarh, Sudesh Kumar under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar arrested both of them today.

Whereas another accused involved in another attempt to murder was arrested by a police team headed by SHO Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of DySP Ops. Garu Ram Bhardwaj and Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

 Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that lawlessness was not acceptable in civilized society and all criminals who took law in their own hands and committed murderous attacks would be dealt with by law.
